I am passionate about helping motivated young to middle-aged adults learn how to discover their self-worth, cultivate healthy relationships, and develop compassionate self-talk. Much of my practice focuses on PTSD, self-criticism, negative self-image, and unhealthy relationships. My primary approaches to therapy are trauma-focused and insight-oriented. I enjoy helping clients build insight into how significant painful experiences have impacted the beliefs they have formed about themselves, others, and the world. I have also found that utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) has been a life-changer for those who have felt “stuck” in therapy and have struggled to reap benefits from more cognitive approaches.
